Nightly Backups

I noticed on my account page that nightly backups are a $3/month option. Does this mean that you don't have any backups at all by default, or that we're just not allowed to access them unless we pay?

We don't provide any backups to our customers by default unless you pay for nightly backups.

Do you have no backups at all or just backups for emergencies that we have no control over? For example, if one of the servers blows up is everyone on that server just out of luck?

We take nightly images of all servers so if one blows up we can restore it.
