cannot connect via ssh with terminal or ftp with cyber duck

may answer my own question here:

Its been 6 hours since setting up my account, and I cannot connect to my home ftp server via cyberduck or ssh via terminal and also my temp domain cannot be found in my browser, the only space I see is my 'sneek peak' link

Do i have to allow 24 hours to propogate?

And also what is the sneek peak space, I cannot see it in my home directory?

Thanks in advance everybody.

This is my first post and first RoR deployment - tres excited...

Please note that the temp domain that you used is just to setup an account with Hosting Rails. You won't be able to use this domain neither to connect to the server via ftp/ssh nor to access your application via http.

A sneak peak is a domain parked over your main domain. It will act the same way as your main domain.

So until you register a domain and point it to Hosting Rails server, you can use your sneak peak domain to access your application.

To ftp/ssh into the server, you can either use sneak-peak domain or your IP address.

@Muxyd

Thank you for the quick response this really is a pro-active forum - and the sneak peek makes sense now!

ftp is successful with cyberduck but i get this when trying ssh with Terminal:

ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host

I used all 3 protocols available - ssh(automatic)(ssh -1)(ssh -2) but no luck, I can gain ftp access via terminal but not ssh - any thoughts?

It seems to be an IP block. You may contact support team via ticket with your global IP by accessing the link http://whatismyip.com so that we can go ahead and unblock it for you.
