I have noticed that the loading times for images on my server is relatively slow. The content of pages loads just fine and quick enough, but JPGs take a while. Is there something I can configure in Apache to make them serve faster?

We have mod_expire installed on the shared server. You can configure the settings from your end (.htaccess file) if your application is running on fcgi mode.
Incase the site/application is running on mongrel then do post us a support ticket with the desired settings. Please do have a look into this thread link pasted below.
