Top shows 2-3 zombie processes. Using mod_rails with multiple instances

Hi folks,

I don't know if this is supposed to work this way, but when I run 'top' I see between 2-3 zombie processes listed. I don't know which ones are the zombie processes though.

The other thing I noticed is that there are about 6 processes that are spawned (I guess) from the Passenger FrameworkSpawner. Does that seem normal? My site generally doesn't get a tremendous amount of traffic but nevertheless, there have been some slow-downs as of late, which has made me wonder if this has anything to do with it.

I couldn't see any zombie process running under your username on the server. It might be a temporary issue. Are you having this issue very often ?

Hi - We have already upgraded the mod_rails on the server. Please see if the issue is still occurring. Also Could you paste us the details when this occurs. You can post a ticket to the support with the exact output so that we can investigate it further. Thank you
