Can I use port 25 instead of port 26 for outgoing mail?

I'm using a pre-existing application an would rather not change it's settings. It currently sends mail out on port 25 but my cpanel settings say to use port 26?

Yes, you can use both the ports 25 and 26 for sending emails.

You don't need to change anything on the server. You just need to mention the port in your application.
