I've set up a subdomain and I can't get it working. I'm getting the dreaded "Application failed to start properly" message.
I've followed all the tutorials and threads I could find on the subject, but to no avail.
Here's what I have:
1) At the root are my main app (~/choosetorejoice) and the one I want hooked to my subdomain (~/anglicanchurch)
2) I have set up a subdomain through CPanel called "sneakpeek"
3) I have deleted the sneakpeek folder in html_public
4) I set up a symlink in html_public called "sneakpeek" pointing to ~/anglicanchurch/public
5) My main domain runs perfectly, however, subdomain.maindomain.com gives me the error.
6) The ~/anglicanchurch/log/production.log has not been updated since 12:38pm (it is now 2:45pm) which I completely don't understand
7) I've tried killall -u username dispatch.fcgi, but get "no process killed" (also tried without the username and get the same end result)
I don't know what else to look at here. Please help!
