When i check the logs it says "no such file or directory - /tmp/mysql.sock"
Anyone have any idea what could cause this?

My app has been working fine for the last several days. But all of the sudden I get an error message when I pull it up.
When i check the logs it says "no such file or directory - /tmp/mysql.sock"

I would recommend sending in a support ticket if your site is still down.

Our site, www.gluenote.com, is down too, and has been for the last 2 or more hours. We've sent a support ticket but no reply other than the canned one - not good.

It should a database connectivity issue. Try connecting to the databases from the command line and see if you are getting any errors.
You can use the command
mysql -u <username> -p
