Addon domain for site where DNS servers are hosted elsewhere

I have my primary domain setup and working fine.  I have the DNS servers for this domain somewhere else (godaddy if it matters) and in my DNS configuration I pointed to resolve to the shared IP you guys gave me.  Works great.  Now I wish to add a second domain, but I get an error message telling me that I can't do that unless I have you guys be the DNS server for my primary domain.  I don't want to do this..  I'm using google apps for my email and don't want to monkey with having to setup the MX records again and don't feel like I should have to.

Here are the details:

Primary domain: christophernelsonconsulting.com  (this works)
Added domain: rdicincinnati.org

Just for grins, I already added a CNAME entry for rdicincinnati.christophernelsonconsulting.com since it sounds like that's what the addon domain thing in CPanel was trying to do.  But it didn't seem to help.

What do I need to do to make this work?

I've added the Addon domain rdicincinnati.org for you now. The domain points to /home/yourusername/public_html/rdicincinnati under your home directory .
Please verify this.

So, in this scenario, which is exactly mine, do we just tell HR what the add on domain is?  Do I have to do anything in cPanel?
