From cpanel on the postgresql databases page, I enter a db name and click create. The page says that the database has been created, but when I return the the postgres databases page it says "There are no databases associated with your account".

I'm bumping this thread since it is recommended.
I have exactly the same problem.
I gather it's a common problem since I already had it with my former hosting solution.

It works just fine now through cPanel.
Is it intended that I'm not allowed to use 'createdb'? It says:
createdb: database creation failed: ERROR: permission denied to create database
It's not really an issue, since the panel works, but I was wondering.
Thank you for the swift response.

Hello,
The current Cpanel Server Settings allows usage of postgressql via frontend(cpanel) and restricts backend operations. We can however access postgres via backend. Do let us know incase you are facing any issues at your end.
