I am able to get to see the rails welcome page of my application does this mean I have got the symlinks correct and any
reason for a very simple rails application not working is probabnly due to a bad rewrite

I have made a few attempts at trying to get a mongrel instance and a fcgi instance wiorking at the same time

The welcome page was pulled out from the index.html present in public. I've moved it now and the app is updating production logs. I hope you'll be able to work around the routing error present.
