Trouble with Symlinked Application on Mongrel

I have an application that is working fine via the Symlink that's setup, but I need the application to be restarted.

It was previously running on FastCGI (I think) and I tried to get it running on Mongrel today.  I was able to start the Mongrel instance, but my changes don't seem to be loaded.  So I'm guessing that the FastCGI stuff is still running.

Can someone help?  I'd like to have my applications running on Mongrel if possible.
