Unable to connect to SSH

When I try to connect to my IP, PuTTY comes back with:

Unable to open connection to {ip}
Network error: connection refused.

All I am doing is putting my IP in the Ip box. I am wondering if there are any other settings that I need to set or is there an issue in the SSH connection.

Thank you for your help.

Please ensure that you're not blocked out from accessing port 22 on your end. You may also getback to us with your global IP so we can check this further.
