HTTPS Cert for Subdomain - Where Does the Cert go?

My domain name is used by two servers. The address http://example.com points to one server, and a subdomain, http://hr.example.com, points to my Hostingrails server.  This routing is done through my DNS account at Network Solutions.

I need to setup a https certificate for the Hostingrails server so I can implement https logins for my app.  Do I install the certificate in my hostingrails cPanel, or at Network Solutions?

thanks

Hi - You need to do this on HostingRails servers. You need to buy an SSL certificate (from a place like goDaddy). Then you can upload the CRT, RSA key, and the intermediate bundle that you get from the SSL vendor to you home directory. We will ensure that it is installed on your domain. Thank you

Thanks. Somehow that seems obvious to me now.
