I'm sorry but we actually don't install ffmpeg on shared servers as it's quite resource intensive. We may be able to install it on a VPS for you.

I was able to install. Once I get my entire rails app running, I will need to upgrade before I go live. Right now, the site is globally protected from traffic with rails 2 http authentication.

Well, please note that we wont allow installing FFMPEG on our shared server. Incase we find this causing load on the shared server then, we will have to shut this down.
