Ugly PostgreSQL errors

Hi,

My site, sapphire-lang.org appears to be having major trouble. Looking in the Rails log I see many entries like this:

PGError (FATAL:  sorry, too many clients already);

What's happening? Things were working fine until recently.

Thanks,

Dan

Please check it back again, it should be fine now. There're toomany connections to the server which caused this error.

Thanks, I can get to the site. On a possibly related note, I can no longer checkout from CVS.

djberge-/export/home/djberge-504>ssh -v -l sapphir sapphire-lang.org
Sun_SSH_1.1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL 0x0090704f

debug1: Rhosts Authentication disabled, originating port will not be trusted.
debug1: ssh_connect: needpriv 0
debug1: Connecting to sapphire-lang.org [74.86.27.116] port 22.
debug1: Connection established.
debug1: identity file /export/home/djberge/.ssh/identity type -1
debug1: identity file /export/home/djberge/.ssh/id_rsa type -1
debug1: identity file /export/home/djberge/.ssh/id_dsa type 2
ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host
debug1: Calling cleanup 0x3429c(0x0)

I've tried from two different boxes and I always get the "connection closed" error. It was working fine until recently.

Any ideas?

It looks like your global Ip is blocked by the server firewall. Can you please post in a support ticket with your global Ip. You can obtain the same by accessing the link http://whatsimyip.com/ from your local end.
