Emails from WebMail going into recievers spam filter

Hello,

Our customers are reporting that our emails, typically sent from the Squirrel Mail web client, are ending up in their junk mail folders, or their spam filters are catching them.  Is there anything I can do about this?

We also notice that the "from" server is pascal.hostingrails.com, but our email address is "xxxx@ourdomain.com".  Is this causing the problem, and if so, how can I fix it?

Thanks!
Marcus

This issue looks strange..Can you confirm that you cannot recreate the issue if the mail is send from horde..? These issues are seen normally and the best possible solution to avoid this situation is by setting a SPF record for the domain.

The Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is an open standard specifying a technical method to prevent sender address forgery. You can checkout the following link for more details regarding SPF.
http://www.openspf.org/

Also you can create the SPF record from your end by using the above mentioned link.(There is a section "Deploying SPF" under which you can find a wizard for creating SPF record.)

Also you can test your SPF records and see if they're valid are not using the following link.
http://www.kitterman.com/spf/validate.html

Once the SPF record is created from your end, please post in a support request for setting this up for your domain name.
