SSH key question.

In a vain attempt to hookup netbeans to my svn repo on the server, I apparently had to set my account up to use a ssh key sans password.  I followed the tutorial here: http://www.hostingrails.com/forums/wiki_thread/27

With this, I seem to have generated the key(s) on my local machine okay.  Then I got to the point where I had to copy the keys to the server (Step 4).  Of course I don't have the script mentioned (ssh-copy-id) to do this and didn't have any luck with the alternatives mentioned.

Regardless, now I can't login to the server the old way; I get this message:  "ssh_exchange_identification: Connection closed by remote host".  I tried renaming my local keys (since I didn't want to delete them), but the same thing happened.

I am kinda hosed, a bit frustrated, and a bona fide linux noob.  If anyone can explain what is goin' on here and help this guy out, I'd appreciate it.

Hi - It seems to be a IP block at the server firewall. Could you please post a ticket to the support with your global IP by accessing the link http://whatismyip.com . We will check it and will get back to you.
