Generating a key for SSL

I'm trying to get SSL set up on one of my domains, but when I try using cPanel to generate a private key it doesn't work. The textboxes labeled 'private key' and 'private key information' are blank, and nothing shows up when I look at the list of current keys. Has anyone else run into this problem?

It could be better if you can get the support team to generate CSR for you through the whm of the server by providing them the required details. -Kumar
