Setting SVN, (well... not succeeding to set it up).

Dear all,

I am following the instructions to setup SVN, and fail to create a local import.
I get the following error:

jpodder@augustine [~]#
jpodder@augustine [~]# svn import ~/tmp/agent file:///home/jpodder/svn/agent -m "import"
svn: Unable to open an ra_local session to URL
svn: Unable to open repository 'file:///home/jpodder/svn/agent'
jpodder@augustine [~]#

Directories:

tmp/agent
tmp/agent/trunks
tmp/agent/branches
tmp/agent/tags
svn/agent
are all existing directories.

I have been investigating, but now stuck, as I can't resolve the problem.
Would this have to do with Authentication? Would Calisto support SVN as well as an alternative? (I like to use Radrails/aptana which includes subclipse).

THanks for the help.

OK, solved. I checked the instructions again, I forgot svnadmin command. deuhhhh

I've had the same issue.
It might be a good idea to update tutorial, since scriptless version of SVN setup tutorial lacks svnadmin command (http://www.hostingrails.com/forums/wiki_thread/4).

It's a Wiki and any user can make changes. But remember, with great power comes great responsibility :)
