Any ideas would be most welcome. The file I have is a .tar.gz file, is that the problem? Is the Control Panel here expecting .zip? If so, and I need to upload and unpack the file manually, any advice on the specific untar command would be really helpful. Every time I untar a file manually, the unpacked files seem to end up in a different directory than the one I want. Thank you.
How to restore Control Panel backup from another host?

I am hoping to move here from another host. I've got my Control Panel backup files from there, but when I try using the Control Panel "restore" here, nothing happens. When I select the restore home directory backup option, find my file and click on upload, nothing happens, I just get a blank browser window.

Borntorun,
Just upload the backup to your home directory and post a ticket to support team so that they can help you out with restore.
