Installing gems following http://www.hostingrails.com/forums/wiki_thread/2

When I get down to 
[~]# gem install gem_name -i ~/.gems
I get this error:
gem install soap4r-1.5.8 -i ~/.gems
Bulk updating Gem source index for: http://gems.rubyforge.org
/usr/local/lib/ruby/1.8/yaml.rb:133: [BUG] Segmentation fault
ruby 1.8.5 (2006-08-25) [i686-linux]

Aborted (core dumped)
What am I doing wrong?

Hello,

I have installed the required gem on the server now. Do check and confirm working from your end now. You can check the availability of the gem by running the following command on your shell access.

$gem list |grep soap4r-1.5.8
