MX records won't go away

We're using HR for our website, but have another provider that handles our email.  I'm trying to delete the MX records that must've been created when we added the domains, so that mail sent from the site will actually get to the mail servers.  When I delete them through cPanel, it says they've been deleted, but they're still there.  Am I doing something wrong?

Sorry for the confusion. Please note that you cannot edit Dns entries from your end directly. Please post a ticket to the support department including the new MX details. We will do it for you from our end.
