Can I use ssl under my account

I haven't made the jump from a basic to a professional account yet, I will need to in the future, but taking baby steps since I'm really new to web applications development. I've reached the step where I need to set up ssl via https (think i said that right). I realize I need to purchase a dedicated IP, but can I stay with FastCGI and wait to upgrade to a Mongrel server later, or do I need to make that jump now?

Yes, you can purchase a dedicated IP and set up ssl for a domain running on fcgi and later when you upgrade, you can install mongrel instance for that domain.
