SSL and Subdomains

I need to setup HTTPS for my app on my hostingrails server, but the domain is managed with Network Solutions where only a subdomain points to hostingrails and the main domain points to another server. Do I setup the certificate through network solutions or hostingrails? I tried setting it up through hostingrails, but in cPanel under "SSL Manager">"Activate SSL on Your Web Site">"Install/Update A SSL Host" the subdomain I created the certificate/keys for doesn't appear.

The host setup to install SSL for this subdomain should be done on the host where it is actually setup. If you just have DNS pointing to our server, you should contact Network Solutions to help with this.
