anonymous ftp access

Is it possible to setup an anonymous ftp account without a password so that it can be accessed by pointing a browser to:

ftp://ftp.mydomain.com/somesharedfolder

Currently anonymous account has a password that I can't remove and there 2 ftp accounts without a password:

anonymous@mydomain.com and ftp@mydomain.com

but they don't allow a "default" access without specifying a user name and a password.

Anonymous access is currently is disabled on the server due to security reasons. And please note that we don't have any intention to enable it in future.
