ftp question

How do I access my account with ftp so I can upload my site before I switch the nameservers on my domain?

I tried connecting with the shared ip given but it gives me this error:

Transfer channel can't be opened. Reason: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Error: Could not retrieve directory listing
Command: REST 0
Error: Timeout detected!

I'm sorry to be a bit late on this. There's a firewall related issue which has been taken care of now. Please try ftp back again.

I am getting this same error again when trying to ftp in to my site.

Sorry for the delay. I have made some ftp related configuration changes to fix the issue now. I believe this should fix the issue completely. Please access ftp now and confirm the status.
