Awstats via cPanel

Hi,

I'm wondering if I can enable the Awstats statistic package through cPanel. I've administered a server with WHM/cPanel and used other hosts, and this is usually installed/accessible by default through cPanel.

So far I've only seen a post about someone installing it themselves: http://www.hostingrails.com/forums/everything_else_thread/316

Should be available to hosting accounts through cPanel though, but if you guys have it disabled, I'm sure there is a reason.

Thanks.

I've enabled Awstats now. Please verify.

Hi Santhi, thanks for the fast response!

I see the Awstats icon in cPanel now, but the statistics for my domain are not available for viewing. I get this meesage:

"There are no domains which have awstats stats to display."

One possibility is that the cron job for awstats has not been run yet, so cPanel thinks awstats hasn't generated anything from the logs.

Another thing that might be worth mentioning, is I get a bunch of red X's under the "Choose Log Programs" link in cPanel.

I've updated the stats now. Also the red X's under the "Choose Log Programs" link in cPanel is because it is disabled in WHM.
