Is it possible to configure apache to use compression, like mod_deflate?
I've tried enabling it in htaccess files, but I've had no luck so far.
Can anyone offer any advice, or is it unavailable?

Hi Matt, this can be done with a VPS or Dedicated account of course, but we do not enable mod_deflate or any compression mod for performance reasons on shared servers.
