I am an absolute newbie!
I have been trying to setup mail for our website. I decided to use Gmail for mail.
My domain is from yahoo small business. I went to yahoo control panel and updated the MX records as advised by Google and updated the CNAME record such that I can access mail through mail.<domain_name>.com.
Today I was just looking at my cpanel webmail. I used squirrel to access the webmail. I saw that all emails sent to <email_id>@<domain_name>.com are being caught by the mail server on hostingrails.
My understanding of how this works is pretty poor. Can someone tell me what is going on? And how can I setup Gmail for my domain that is being hosted on hostingrails?
