question on hosting plans?

Hi,
Noob question here, if i get the professional plan, can i run multiple rail applications using mongrel? or is it 1 instance of mongrel and the 50mb of memory used for 1 application? i am basically will be launching my first site for the public and would like it to be fast. since i am new, i was wondering if for every rails app i launch, do i need a new professional account?

Hi there - good question - 50MB of dedicated memory is enough for a single mongrel, which means a single app.  If you want to run multiple applications on mongrel you will need to add dedicated memory to your account (or upgrade to a plan that comes with more memory) because they cannot all run on the same instance.
