Rails error in account?

When I attempt to run the rails command in my account (via SSH), I get the following result:

/usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems.rb:204:in `report_activate_error': Could not find RubyGem rails (> 0) (Gem::LoadError)
       from /usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems.rb:141:in `activate'
       from /usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems.rb:37:in `require_gem_with_options'
       from /usr/local/lib/ruby/site_ruby/1.8/rubygems.rb:31:in `require_gem'
       from /usr/local/bin/rails:17

Did I muck something really simple up?

Thanks for any pointers...

Hi there, try logging off and then log back in and try it again....my guess is that in your shell session you have paths altered.

Well, actually, as soon as I deleted my .gem and .gems dir, logged out and logged back in, I was able to use the rails -v command again.

Weird.

I tried following the instructions for freezing one's gems, but maybe I messed something up in the process.

Thanks!
