Any word on using Monitor Daemons ?

So here we are a month later from this posthttp://www.hostingrails.com/forums/rails_coding_thread/675#fpost2

So far all is well in the idea and workings that the Bash script "does work" when they are dead buuut it does nothing to it if they are just clogged but still running. And thats where I stand right now, I am getting reports that it's broken but I still see them (druby and mongrels) still running but I still have to force them to restart.

Any word on this Monitor Daemon or God or something ? It is looking like we might have to transfer over to a dedicated server in the long run elsewhere sadly. awe pits.

Hi Coffee, we pushed hard to get god working on our shared servers but unfortunately we ran into a number of compatibility issues.  We are now working on Monit, but it may be a few weeks before we have it ready to deploy across our server fleet.

Also, know that we will have VPS plans available here in mid-DEC.  Furthermore, I'm sure the support team would help you incorporate a check for "clogging" in your cron script.
